Job summary

Hitachi Vantara in Kraków is seeking a Finance Specialist to support quotes, orders, and IFRS compliance, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and timely delivery of goods and services.

You will collaborate with sales and services teams, verify documentation, and manage complex terms while upholding Hitachi Vantara policies. German and English (B2) are required, with a professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 2+ years of finance experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate finance environment.
• German working proficiency and English knowledge at B2 level.
• Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and position quotes while processing orders in CRM/ERP; support export compliance.
• Ensure transactions have documentation and approvals for standard/non-standard terms.
• Ensure deals comply with IFRS, JSOX and Hitachi Vantara policies.
• Lead IFRS Compliance Checklist review and provide supporting docs for revenue/cost recognition.
• Track order and delivery information; liaise with Distribution and Logistics for shipment details.
• Assist in contract creation for standard transactions; escalate changes to senior teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and position sales and services quotes while processing all orders within the Company’s CRM and ERP platforms for accurate and timely fulfillment and delivery of goods and services. Support export compliance requirements.
• Ensure all assigned transactions have proper documentation and approvals for any standard and non‑standard financial contract terms and conditions.
• Ensure all assigned deals are evaluated for compliance with IFRS, JSOX and Hitachi Vantara policies.
• Responsible for the final review and submission of the IFRS Compliance Checklist for all assigned orders, providing supporting documentation for revenue and cost recognition conclusions.
• Track and communicate any order‑related and delivery‑related information to customers, partners and sales teams as required; liaise with Distribution and Logistics for shipment and delivery information.
• Support the creation of contracts for standard transactions; engage senior teams for terms that deviate from Company standards or affect revenue timing.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate finance environment (finance industry preferred).
• German working proficiency and English knowledge at B2 level.
• Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred.
• Ability to partner with sales and services colleagues to achieve success.

• Ability to work independently, prioritizing complex tasks to meet deadlines.
