Job summary

Calan is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Project Development Manager – M&A & Repowering to join a fast-growing energy group in Poland. You will identify acquisition opportunities for wind farms and renewable assets and lead market research and feasibility studies.

You will contribute to structuring and executing transactions, including financial modeling and due diligence, and support post-acquisition integration and reporting across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience in wind energy.
• Solid knowledge of wind turbines and related technical, legal, and financial aspects.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel within Poland.
• Proactive, development-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and value creation.
• Experience in preparing business plans and financial analyses in the Polish energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify acquisition opportunities for wind farms and renewable energy assets (developers, investors, independent producers, etc.).
• Conduct market research, feasibility studies and strategic analyses to identify growth opportunities, including repowering projects.
• Contribute to the structuring and execution of transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence processes and negotiation of key terms.
• Support the post-acquisition phase, ensuring effective integration of projects, identification of synergies and preparation of internal reporting.

Requirements

• Several years of project management experience in the wind energy sector.
• Solid knowledge of wind turbines and related technical, legal, and financial aspects.
