Job summary

Calan is seeking an experienced Repowering Project Development Manager to drive wind farm repowering projects in Poland, from identification through permitting and financing. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and assess regulatory constraints to prepare compelling business plans and financial models.

You will lead multi-disciplinary efforts, travel across Poland, and collaborate with asset owners and external advisors in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience in the wind energy sector.
• Solid knowledge of wind turbines and related technical, legal, and financial aspects.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel within Poland.

Responsibilities

• Identify existing wind farms in Poland with repowering potential.
• Manage the process from initial contact with asset owners through location analysis and regulatory or aeronautical constraints assessment to offer preparation and submission.
• Coordinate technical, legal (land, lease, easements), and financial due diligence, and estimate operating costs within project business plans.
• After acquisition, oversee permitting processes, turbine negotiations, and collaboration with external advisors for dismantling, reconstruction, and validation.
• Develop or support the preparation of project business plans and financial models for the Polish market.

A fast-growing independent renewable energy producer is expanding its operations in Poland. The company supports businesses and local authorities in their decarbonization journey through innovative energy solutions such as Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (cPPA) and Solar as a Service (SaaS), enabling direct and long-term access to clean energy. We are currently looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of: Repowering Project Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
