We are currently looking for an experienced professional for the position of:
Project Development Manager
Location: Poland
Scope of Responsibilities
Strategy and Market Analysis:
- Monitoring regulatory, market, and competitive developments in the Polish wind, photovoltaic (PV), and energy storage (BESS) markets.
- Identifying priority market segments and defining project development criteria in line with the company’s strategy.
- Co-creating and implementing the renewable energy project development strategy aligned with the company’s ambitions and shareholders’ expectations.
Business Development and Partnerships:
- Building and developing a network of business partners sourcing wind, PV, and BESS projects (projects at development, RTB, or co-development stages).
- Cooperating with local public stakeholders (public administration, local governments, voivodeship offices, regulators).
Project Development and Organization:
- Coordinating preliminary analyses and feasibility studies, spatial planning processes, and administrative and permitting procedures.
- Negotiating and concluding land lease agreements with landowners.
- Leading and supporting project co-development processes.
- Planning and managing internal and external resources to achieve development targets (including 400 MW of PV by 2030 and the development of wind and BESS project portfolios).
- Preparing and controlling annual development budgets.
- Participating in all stages of project development: utility-scale PV and wind farms, agri-PV projects, energy storage systems (BESS), and other renewable energy technologies.
- Assessing the technical and economic feasibility of projects.
- Managing cooperation with design offices, engineers, and advisors.
- Participating in due diligence processes related to external project acquisitions.
Stakeholder Management and Reporting:
- Representing company in relations with landowners, local communities, public administration bodies, grid operators, and energy offtakers.
- Participating in public meetings and industry events.
- Maintaining project documentation in CRM systems and providing regular reports to headquarters.
- Handling confidential information with full discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
- Experience in renewable energy project development (wind, PV, BESS).
- Very good command of English.
- Practical knowledge of feasibility studies, spatial planning, and administrative processes.
- Experience in land negotiations and lease agreement execution.
- Participation in acquisition, due diligence, or project execution processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Very good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and external advisors.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Poland.
