Job summary

Coursedog is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead demos, scope deals, and run CX calls that align customers with Sales and Customer Success before signing. You will work closely with Account Executives, campus IT, and campus leaders to set expectations and ensure smooth handoffs across the customer lifecycle.

You’ll own technical credibility in the sales cycle, accurate scoping, and secure handoffs to CS, balancing momentum with scope discipline in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solutions/Sales Engineering or similar
• Hands-on SaaS product depth and integrations
• Proven ability to translate technical detail into business value
• Sales-oriented mindset with strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver demos and proofs-of-concept tailored to customer pain points
• Support account executives across new logo and expansion motions
• Lead CX calls to align scope, volumes, and edge cases before go-live
• Own integration and security discussions with prospects and campus IT
• Draft and QA SOW/RFP responses and ensure accuracy with demo positioning
• Travel for in-person presentations and key account support
• Handoff to Customer Success with documented context and risk areas
• Collaborate with Product and Security on integrations and compliance
