Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to act as the technical partner for enterprise and commercial accounts, mapping complex business challenges to AI-powered software solutions. You will lead technical discovery, solution design, and demonstrations to prove Zendesk's platform value.

You will craft POCs, configure AI-driven workflows, reuse accelerators, and collaborate with security and data-privacy teams to address real customer needs.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in technical presales or solution engineering.
• Proficient with modern web technologies and REST APIs.
• Practical understanding of AI, LLMs, and automated workflows.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS ecosystems and CX/ES domains.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for on-site sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical validation phase of sales, respond to RFPs, design solutions.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with IT and business teams.
• Create impactful POCs and demos showcasing agentic AI workflows.
• Deploy reusable accelerators and middleware components for complex architectures.
• Gather feedback and help shape product enhancements with cross-functional teams.
