Job summary

Strada is seeking a Senior HR & Payroll Specialist to support the German payroll life cycle accurately and timely. You will upskill colleagues through training and coaching, enabling them to fulfill their roles while driving payroll innovation.

In this remote role, you will collaborate with a global team, manage end-to-end payroll tasks, answer inquiries, and ensure compliance with payroll legislation and client requirements. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English; German skills are an asset.
• Strong MS Office proficiency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate in a global team and manage payroll processes.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support German payroll end-to-end according to standards and client requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement mitigating actions for issues.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support change requests when scope differs.
• Understand standard and client-specific payroll reports and year-end needs.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll legislation and system updates; roadmap compliance.
• Answer payroll questions from team and clients; assist Operations Manager with engagements.
• Safeguard confidential information and resolve technical/functional issues escalated by others.
• Support and maintain client solution workbooks and provide functional support as needed.
• Assist project implementations and go-lives; participate in assigned activities.
