Job summary

Strada is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist with German to manage end-to-end German payroll transactions for a multinational client base, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across processes.

The role requires 2–3 years of payroll experience, fluency in English and German (B2+), and strong MS Office skills. You will handle data with confidentiality and collaborate with teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Around 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.
• Very good English and German skills (B2 minimum).
• Strong knowledge of the various inputs and outputs such as third party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Independently process German payroll from end to end according to the defined standards and client requirements including all associated payroll tasks.
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds.
• Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities.
• Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
• Produce and understand standard and client specific payroll reports including statutory year end reporting needs.
• Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiates corrections per the defined standards.
• Answer German payroll related questions and requests.
• Provide clear knowledge transfers to peers.
• Support and manage system maintenance testing.
• Support technical issue coordination and resolution.
• Maintains current knowledge of legislation requirements; system updates, changes and overall payroll procedures.
• Participates in projects and activities as needed and assigned.
