Job summary

Virtual Rockstar is hiring a full-time Outbound Sales Development Representative (Remote) for a nationwide industrial equipment distributor. The role involves cold calling municipalities, schools, hospitals, and facilities managers to introduce the company’s services and open doors for the sales team.

You will work in a consultative, educational style, leveraging ZoomInfo and CRM tools to build and manage a pipeline.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience required.
• Comfortable with high-volume outbound cold calling.
• Excellent, clear English communication and professional phone presence.
• CRM experience with any major system acceptable.
• Consultative, relationship-building approach rather than aggressive selling.

Responsibilities

• Cold call prospective accounts, including municipalities, colleges, schools, hospitals, and facilities managers/engineers, to introduce the company and its services.
• Identify and pursue new B2B leads across a nationwide territory.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in the CRM (Bigin by Zoho).
• Use ZoomInfo to source accurate contact information for target accounts.
• Coordinate and hand off warm leads to the appropriate sales representative for follow-up.
• Represent the company's brand and approach professionally, positioning outreach as educational and consultative.
