Job summary

HS Financial Technologies (HSFT) is a global technology and fund administration partner to alternative asset managers, delivering “smarter” data, workflows, and operations across the investment lifecycle. As a Portfolio Accounting Associate, you will work on cash and position reconciliations within a centralized team, receiving induction and on-the-job training throughout the graduate programme.

Graduates gain exposure to fund valuation processes and financial statements, with on-going training

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and well organized.
• IT literate with an emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to be flexible, work independently, and work effectively in a time-sensitive environment with defined deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• The preparation of Cash and Positions Reconciliations, ensuring a timely accurate output.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with internal service departments and clients.
• Collaborate and liaise with internal departments to support the resolution of fund-related issues.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Escalate issues and aged items to Portfolio Accounting Supervisor and Manager; work on ad-hoc projects and tasks.
• Ensure pre-agreed internal and external deadlines are met consistently.
• Ensure that HSFT’s client focused ethos is maintained on a daily basis.
