Job summary

Bloober Team, a game development studio driven by real gamers, is seeking a Gameplay Programmer. You will contribute to the core gameplay codebase, maintain features, and prototype new systems to push our horror titles forward.

You will collaborate with AI and Tools teams, tackle gameplay challenges, and stay up to date with UE5 capabilities and modern programming patterns to deliver engaging player experiences on ambitious projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with UE4/UE5
• Experience prototyping and implementing gameplay systems
• Experience on UE-based AA/AAA title in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of C++
• Experience with GAS
• Familiarity with UE animation systems
• Knowledge of UE5 gameplay design patterns

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and maintaining gameplay codebase and features
• Prototyping and implementing gameplay systems
• Supporting other departments such as AI or Tools
• Solving problems with gameplay systems
• R&D – staying up to date with latest gameplay tech
