You will assist with sourcing, negotiating, booking loads, and tracking shipments, while building relationships with carriers to expand our network. Strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist freight brokers in sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Communicate with carriers and shippers to resolve freight issues and provide updates.
• Maintain TMS data with load information.
• Assist with rate quotes, load confirmations, and carrier paperwork.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers to grow the network.
• Support billing and invoicing by verifying load documentation.

• Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with accurate load data
• Assist with rate quotes, load confirmations, and carrier paperwork
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers to grow the available carrier network
• Support billing and invoicing processes by verifying load documentation

Requirements:

• Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation is a plus
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with a TMS is a bonus
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated team player with a customer-first mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
