Job summary

Prestige Logistics LLC is seeking a motivated Freight Broker Assistant to join our growing team. This remote position offers an opportunity to learn from experienced freight brokers and contribute to a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

You will support brokers by sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads, tracking shipments, and keeping TMS records up to date. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight brokerage or logistics is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with a TMS is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support freight brokers in sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads.

• Communicate with carriers and shippers to resolve issues and provide updates.
• Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with load data.
• Assist with rate quotes, load confirmations, and carrier paperwork.

• Support billing and invoicing by verifying load documentation.
