Job summary

Avon is seeking a People Service Area Specialist to deliver high-quality People Services across markets, focusing on payroll, benefits administration, and HR operations.

You will support transitions into our Shared Services model, maintain data integrity in Workday, and collaborate with employees and partners to drive efficiency.

This role requires at least 3 years in HR operations or payroll, fluent English, and strong Excel skills; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR operations, payroll, or related field.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and benefits administration.
• Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday or similar.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Italian language skills are an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly payroll activities with external providers.
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with queries.
• Maintain employee data in Workday and HR systems with accuracy and compliance.
• Perform audits, controls, and reporting to support data integrity.
• Support transition of markets into the Shared Services model and knowledge transfer.
• Create and update process documentation and SOPs.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across teams and markets.
• Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with People Services strategy.
