Job summary

Smith+Nephew is hiring a People Operations Senior Associate to serve as the first line of HR support for employees and managers across the EMEA region. You will handle inquiries, Manage core HR processes, and ensure timely Workday notifications are reviewed and approved.

You will be part of the GBS HR Services team, building strong relationships with customers while maintaining accurate personnel records and adhering to SLAs. This role offers a hybrid model and professional growth within HR.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of proven work experience in a similar HR role.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Fluent German with strong English communication.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under limited supervision.
• Knowledge of HR processes and MS Office; Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact to our customer base for HR queries.
• Provide support to our customer base on all core HR processes.
• Caseload management, responding to HR queries within SLAs and HR Services procedures.
• Escalate tasks to the broader HR team within SLA.
• Follow-up cases to resolution and maintain documentation in Workday.
