Tata Consultancy Services in Wrocław is seeking an HR Support Specialist fluent in German to join our international HR Service Center. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, delivering high-quality HR support in line with policies and GDPR requirements.

You will handle inquiries in German and English, support payroll, benefits, onboarding, and data maintenance in HRIS such as Workday or SAP, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 2+ years in HR operations, shared services, or HR support.
• Experience with HR systems: Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers, and external partners.
• Provide accurate information on HR policies, payroll, benefits, leave management, and onboarding.
• Process and maintain employee data in the HRIS system (e.g., SAP HR, Workday, SuccessFactors).
• Ensure that all employee records are accurate, complete, and compliant with data protection standards (GDPR).
• Escalate complex cases to Second Line HR or specialized HR teams when necessary.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize HR service delivery.
• Support HR reporting and documentation as needed.

Job description

We are looking for motivated HR Support Specialist with German language skills to join our international HR Service Center. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing high-quality HR support in line with company policies and procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple HR-related queries efficiently in both German and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers, and external partners (via phone, email, or HR ticketing tools).
• Provide accurate and timely information on HR policies, procedures, payroll, benefits, leave management, and onboarding.
• Process and maintain employee data in the HRIS system (e.g., SAP HR, Workday, SuccessFactors).
• Ensure that all employee records are accurate, complete, and compliant with data protection standards (GDPR).
• Escalate complex cases to Second Line HR or specialized HR teams when necessary.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize HR service delivery.
• Support HR reporting and documentation as needed.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, or HR support roles.
• Proven experience providing first line or customer support in a corporate environment.
• Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).

Skills:

• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good command of English (B2 or higher).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Prior experience in human resources operations and best practices
• Any additional training and certification in Human Resource Management will be considered an advantage
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR data.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Familiarity with HR processes across multiple European countries.
• Knowledge of HR service delivery frameworks (SLA, KPI, ticket handling).
