Job summary

WLG in Bydgoszcz is seeking a hands-on technician to support the end-user estate on-site. You will prepare devices, resolve day-to-day IT issues, and execute first-line troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly during exercises and events.

The role requires configuring laptops and iPhones, handling account requests, and maintaining accurate logs for the next technician. A strong emphasis on security basics and user communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven end-user support experience with desktops, laptops and peripherals in a business or operational setting.
• Confidence with device imaging, software installation and Windows troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with ticketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and rebuild laptops from the standard image and configure them for day-one use.
• Set up, wipe and prepare iPhones for users.
• Handle account requests – password and MFA resets, access provisioning from approved tickets.
• Resolve common first-line issues: logins, software errors, printers, Wi-Fi and LAN; escalate complex problems.
• Keep devices patched and compliant, check deployment status and fix basic failures.
• Log every install, fix or deploy to maintain clear traceability for future technicians.
