Job summary

Bechtel invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer in Warsaw, Poland, supporting the Poland Nuclear project with Westinghouse. You will help develop mechanical systems for the AP1000 project as the EPC contractor, preparing diagrams, calculations, data sheets, and vendor interfaces.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with codes and procedures, contribute to cost estimates and schedules, and require 1–2 years of experience with fluency in English and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of experience.
• Authorized to live and work in Poland without sponsorship.
• Experience in P&ID development and fluid system design.
• Knowledge of ANSI/ASME Codes and Standards (ASME B31.1/B31.3).
• Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct mechanical work applying engineering techniques.
• Perform line, pump, valve, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Develop specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions.
• Review vendor submittals and integrate into design.
• Support cost and schedule estimates for the project.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare conceptual studies, designs, and proposals.
• Execute schedule requirements with high quality.
