Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for the AP1000 Poland Project in Krakow to advance nuclear new build activities. You will coordinate engineering execution, manage budgets and schedules, and lead Polish project teams across hub sites to deliver complex scope.

The role requires senior leadership, strong multilingual communication and deep regulatory familiarity with PAA/UDT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing complex technically oriented projects with programmatic, budgetary and resource direction.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering/technology industries preferred.
• Proficiency in Polish and English language.
• Familiarity with Poland Regulatory Body PAA and UDT.
• Experience leading medium or high complexity projects to successful completion.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to build relationships with upper management and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze issues and make complex decisions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to network across different areas and motivate a team toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering Directors and teams to implement standard work processes and automation tools.
• Provide direction to project leads and team members for contractual scope execution.
• Develop and distribute engineering budgets and schedules for Poland AP1000 contracts.
• Identify resource demands and justify staffing; monitor staffing for assigned scopes.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex problems.
• Guide continuous improvement plans and project expansion opportunities.
• Manage time approvals and performance of direct reports; engage Poland hubs.
• Support future bid and proposal efforts for contract phases and scopes.
• Communicate with Polish client (PEJ), PAA, UDT and partners for engagement.
• Collaborate with project mgmt on schedule, budget, risk, change and resource allocation.
