Job summary

Bechtel and Westinghouse are delivering the AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland. The Project Engineer - Levelling & Deep Excavation will lead engineering delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with international designers and stakeholders on-site in Lubiatowo.

You will set the delivery strategy for levelling and excavation, review plans for constructability, and supervise interfaces with NS&E teams and third‑party designers, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering with 15+ years on large infrastructure or nuclear projects.
• Authorized to live and work in Poland without sponsorship.
• Experience leading engineering delivery on major EPC/ECI projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead levelling and deep excavation engineering delivery for AP1000 project.
• Review plans for constructability and regulatory conformance.
• Coordinate with NS&E designers and engineering certifiers in the USA.
• Manage design-build contractors for ground works.
• Provide quality assessment reports to Engineering Manager and project director.
• Interface with construction teams, clients, regulators to support approvals.
