Job summary

Bechtel Poland is seeking a Geotechnical Field Engineer to support earthworks and exploration at the project site for the AP1000 nuclear plant near Lubiatowo. You will provide oversight for field activities, ensure compliance with excavation permits, and coordinate with construction teams within Bechtel's EPC framework.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of experience in large EPC or nuclear projects, proficiency in CAD tools, and strong documentation and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5–8 years of experience or 9–12 years in relevant work.
• Experience with Large EPC or Nuclear construction projects.
• Proficient with CAD deliverables and field engineering documentation such as drawings and material requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and process material requisitions.
• Design of temporary shoring and oversee excavation/backfill permits.
• Manage excavation/logs and ensure compliance with permit requirements.
• Oversee field engineering activities including borehole logs, testing, and interpretations.
• Review submittals and monitor progress with daily safety inspections.
• Contribute to geotechnical design calculations and problem-solving on site.
