Job summary

GEP is seeking a Junior Technical Support Engineer for a 1-year fixed contract in Toruń, Poland. You will join a team delivering technical support to international customers and partners.

You will communicate via email, ticketing system, and telephone, diagnose issues, and help prioritize and resolve problems. Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn are essential, with shifts required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English written and spoken (B2 or higher).
• Basic IT technical skills.
• Desire to learn and gain experience in the IT field.
• Availability to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a team which provides technical support and problem-solving abilities for our international external and internal customers.
• Communicate with our business customers and IT professionals via e-mail, ticketing system and telephone.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize customer problems and formulate resolution plans.
• Assist in identifying resolution gaps and in evaluating new services, processes and technologies introduced at the helpdesk.
• Escalate unresolved issues to support leads, designated service group or client helpdesk
