Job summary

SQUAD Ukraine Limited in Poland seeks an IT Support Specialist to ensure hardware, software, and network reliability across the company. You will troubleshoot issues, install, configure, and maintain computer systems, and support onboarding for new hires to get them productive from day one.

The role also combines logistics responsibilities: handling import/export procedures for devices, inventory control, and creating purchase orders for deliveries and services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with ITSM and ticketing systems.
• Proficiency in using the service desk (Freshservice).
• Basic technical knowledge of home security systems (CCTV cameras, alarm systems).
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose issues.
• Empathetic approach to assisting users and collaboration with IT teams.
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) beneficial and welcome.
• Fluent Polish and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level contact and technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents remotely or in person to minimize disruption.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals per standards.
• Assist IT onboarding for new hires ensuring equipment and accounts work from day one.
• Establish communication with delivery suppliers to arrange equipment deliveries.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides for staff.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to keep IT health and security.
• Inventory management of devices and distribution within the company.
• Organize warehouse operations and manage import/export procedures.
• Create purchase orders (POs) for payment of delivery and logistics services.
