Hitachi Energy in Kraków is seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to support a portfolio of analytics and business applications. You will work with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to ensure applications are reliable, well supported, and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with 5+ years in application management or similar.
• Experience with business applications and multiple stakeholders.
• Vendor management and service delivery experience.
• Project management experience coordinating activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to translate business needs.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle, performance, and continuous improvement of applications in your portfolio.
• Coordinate application support activities including incidents, service requests, and changes.
• Partner with business stakeholders and application owners to identify improvements and support goals.
• Manage vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery and value.
• Help ensure applications meet security, governance, and service management requirements.
• Maintain application documentation and support operational readiness.
• Monitor service performance and ensure service levels are achieved.

Your background

• 8+ years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in application management or a similar role.
• Experience managing business applications and working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with vendor management and service delivery.
• Project management experience, including planning and coordination of activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and their impact.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and experience with AI solutions are considered advantages.
