Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd in Poland invites a DG Coordinator to join our Dangerous Goods Validation Team in Gdansk. You will validate DG booking data, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure safety compliance ahead of vessel arrivals, using our DG catalogue, EDI standards, and RPA tools in a modern Knowledge Center.

This fixed-term role offers collaboration with DG Managers, shift work, and a comprehensive benefits package in a vibrant office at Alchemia.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as shipping agent or practical DG experience.
• Basic knowledge of IMDG codes and dangerous goods regulations preferred.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and well-organised working method under time pressure.
• Team spirit and commitment.
• Good English skills and willingness to work in shifts (6-14, 14-22).

Responsibilities

• Process transport requests for dangerous goods per standards.
• Approve dangerous goods transports for intermodal transport.
• Correspond with internal and external stakeholders.
• Register dangerous goods bookings for partner lines.
• Verify compliance with dangerous goods transport regulations.
• Loading/transit/purge clearance.
• Prepare congestion/separation notes.
• Close cooperation with Regional DG Managers.
