Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Global Payroll Capability Manager to lead the value-creation arm of the Global Payroll Excellence (PEX) team. You will translate strategy into scalable payroll capabilities and govern improvement initiatives across countries, partnering with HR, Finance and IT to maximize value.

You will oversee a small SME/Leads team and own the change management lifecycle from design to BAU, ensuring readiness, adoption and sustainable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll, process excellence, transformation experience in a multinational/SSC.
• 3+ years of people leadership, managing senior specialists and project leads.
• Strong English; other European languages are a plus.
• Experience leading multi-country payroll transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to establish knowledge management and learning programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Payroll Excellence domains; maintain roadmaps, KPIs and maturity plans.
• Build and govern a global continuous improvement portfolio with benefits tracking.
• Drive process simplification, standardization and automation using Lean/PDCA.
• Define value metrics across quality, cycle time and cost avoidance.
• Govern payroll knowledge architecture and internal Payroll Academy.
