Job summary

Biogen in Warsaw is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll delivery for the region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will lead a payroll team, drive process standardization, and maintain strong stakeholder communication across Finance, HR, and IT.

The role emphasizes compliance, vendor management, and collaboration on global payroll initiatives, with a focus on growth and performance management within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in HR, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Experience with payroll systems and vendor management.
• Ability to drive process improvement and standardization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and accurate payroll for the assigned region.
• Manage workload and backups for seamless payroll execution.
• Drive issue resolution and escalate where needed while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Finance and HR leads to discuss team performance and activities.
• Manage payroll vendor relationships to ensure best-in-class execution.
• Own regional processes, driving standardization and improvement.
• Collaborate with HR and IT to ensure system readiness.
• Act as Project Manager for selected regional initiatives.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Lead improvement projects per leadership guidance.
