Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team in Poland. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, with BigQuery as the data warehouse, and collaborate with analytics and product teams.

You will work with Airflow, Terraform, CI/CD for data solutions, and focus on performance, reliability, and data quality. Polish language is required, with English proficiency for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role in production data environments.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform with BigQuery data modeling and query optimization.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data processing and orchestration.
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer) and CI/CD for data solutions.
• Familiarity with Terraform and IaC approaches; experience with large data volumes and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse including data modeling and optimization.
• Integrate data from diverse sources and transform it for analytics use.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow/Cloud Composer and manage CI/CD for pipelines.
• Manage cloud infrastructure following IaC principles (Terraform).
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and rapid incident response; collaborate with analytics and product teams.
