Sii Poland is hiring a Data Engineer to grow skills in cloud data engineering within our Data & Analytics team. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, with BigQuery as the data warehouse, focusing on performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver well-documented data solutions, participate in data architecture discussions, and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data role in production
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery data modeling and query optimization, plus Cloud Storage
• Able to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and/or streaming)
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data processing and orchestration
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow / Cloud Composer)
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD for data solutions (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience handling large data volumes with performance and reliability
• Fluent English; Polish language skills required in Poland

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse including data modeling and query optimization
• Integrate data from multiple sources and transform it for analytics
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow/Cloud Composer
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure
• Manage cloud infrastructure following IaC principles (Terraform)
• Ensure data quality and monitor pipelines with rapid incident response
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver well-documented data
• Contribute to data architecture and establish good data engineering practices
