Sii Poland is looking for a Data Engineer to grow in cloud technologies and work with real data within our Data & Analytics team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, using BigQuery as the core data warehouse and orchestrating workflows with Airflow/Cloud Composer.

Responsibilities include data integration from diverse sources, CI/CD for data pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and collaboration with analytics and product teams to ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform with BigQuery data modeling and query optimization
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch/streaming)
• Strong SQL and Python for data processing and orchestration
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer)
• Hands-on CI/CD for data solutions (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with large data volumes, focusing on performance and reliability
• Fluent English and Polish are required

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse: modeling, querying, cost optimization
• Integrate data from files, databases, APIs, and events
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow/Cloud Composer
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure
• Manage cloud infrastructure following IaC principles (Terraform)
• Ensure data quality, monitor pipelines, and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver well-documented data
• Contribute to data architecture development and promote good data engineering practices
