Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of a portfolio of real estate investment and development projects across Europe. You will collaborate with investment, development and asset management teams to ensure high standards of reporting, governance, and stakeholder communication.

The role offers a hybrid working model with a B2B or employment contract, exposure to complex transactions, and interaction with banks, partners and auditors.

Qualifications

• Min. 7 years of experience in financial controlling & reporting.
• Background in financial audit will be an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of real estate industry (commercial development).
• Experience working with banks, investors and capital partners.
• Good understanding of IFRS and practical financial accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Proactive mindset, ability to create processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial reporting processes for investors, capital partners, and lending institutions.
• Prepare periodic management reports and financial analysis for the investment portfolio.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cash flow planning, and funding requirements.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets and investigate variances.
• Liaise with banks and financing institutions on reporting, financing, and refinancing activities.
• Ensure compliance with financing agreements, debt covenants, and reporting obligations.
• Support debt and equity funding processes across the project portfolio.
• Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, and service providers across jurisdictions.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, controls, and month-end closing processes.
• Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems and reporting tools.
