Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a senior finance professional to lead financial reporting and controlling for a portfolio of properties. You will collaborate with the accounting team and HQ to ensure IFRS compliance and accurate budgets.

The role requires 4+ years in financial audit or controlling, ideally in real estate, with ACCA/CIMA in progress. Hybrid Warsaw offices offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience in financial audit or financial controlling, ideally in real estate.
• ACCA or CIMA qualification (or in progress) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and IFRS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and good command of English.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and control annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare group reporting packages under IFRS and support audits.
• Oversee accounting department, including statutory and group audits.
• Manage cash flow and bank reporting.
• Support investment properties valuation for group reporting and loan agreements.
• Design tools and processes for efficient financial and operational reporting.
• Represent the company with banks, appraisers, and auditors.

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in financial audit gained within a Big4, ideally with exposure to real estate clients, or professionals with a background in financial reporting within a real estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting and controlling activities for a selected portfolio of properties. This role involves close cooperation with both the accounting team and the corporate headquarters. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in financial audit gained within a Big Four firm, ideally with exposure to real estate clients, or professionals with a background in financial reporting within a similar industry environment.

Description

• Preparing and control of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts,
• Preparing group reporting packages in accordance with IFRS,
• Ongoing support and supervision over accounting department including statutory and group audits,
• Cash flow management,
• Responsible for bank reporting,
• Supporting investment properties valuation process on portfolio for group reporting as well as for bank loan agreements purposes,
• Cost control over development projects,
• Designing and implementation of tools/processes for efficient financial and operational reporting,
• Company representation with banks, appraisers, auditors and other entities.

Profile

• Min. 4 years of experience in financial audit or/and financial controlling (ideally in real estate sector),
• ACCA or CIMA (or in progress) will be a big advantage,
• Very good knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and IFRS,
• Proficiency in MS Excel,
• Good command of English both spoken and written,
