Job summary

ACCA Careers Poland is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for an international industrial group in Poznań. The role combines controlling, business partnering and finance expertise while acting as a key partner to local management and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities include preparing analyses, budgets and forecasts, and coordinating month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes with SSCs and external providers. Excellent English and ACCA qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Business Partner or Senior Controller in international settings.
• Strong knowledge of controlling and financial reporting.
• Experience working with SSCs, external accounting providers and auditors.
• Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel.
• Fluent English; proactive stakeholder management.

Job description

For our client, an international industrial group, we are looking for an experienced professional to join the team as a Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who wants to combine controlling, business partnering and finance expertise while acting as a key partner to both local management and international stakeholders.

Fixed-term contract (approximately 2 years)

Responsibilities

• Act as a Finance Business Partner for the entities operating in Poland and support management in business decision-making.
• Prepare financial analyses, budgets, forecasts and recommendations to support business growth.
• Analyse profitability, margins, costs and financial performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes and oversee financial reporting.
• Cooperate with Shared Service Centres, external accounting providers, payroll vendors and tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance of financial processes with group requirements and internal standards.
• Coordinate key finance-related projects.
• Support initiatives related to automation, digitalisation and process improvement.
• Act as the local finance expert and primary point of contact for the Group.

Requirements

• Experience as a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager or Senior Controller within an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of controlling and financial reporting.
• Experience working with SSCs, external accounting providers and auditors.
• Good understanding of accounting processes.
• Experience working with SAP and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Fluent English, ACCA qualification
• Strong level of independence, proactivity and stakeholder management skills.
