Job summary

IntelligenzIT is seeking a Field Support Representative (Level 1) to provide onsite IT support across Europe, covering offices, manufacturing, laboratories and data centres. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform IMAC tasks, image systems, and ensure smooth IT operations for end-users.

We are looking for skilled and customer-focused Field Support Representatives (L1) to provide onsite IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain IT operations across office, manufacturing, laboratory, and data centre environments.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in desk-side IT support

• Windows OS, MS Office, and business applications
• Desktop support, hardware/software installation, and troubleshooting
• IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and break-fix support
• Laptop, desktop, mobile device, handheld scanner, and printer support
• Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, networks, telecom, and compute/storage
• IT asset lifecycle management, imaging, and system deployment
• Data collection and preservation for migrations or eDiscovery
• Provide end-user, desk-side, IMAC, and break-fix support.
• Build, stage, and image systems using standard client images.
• Support manufacturing shop-floor devices, laboratory equipment, scanners, tablets, and specialised PCs.
• Provide smart-hands support, rack-and-stack activities, and infrastructure commissioning/decommissioning assistance.
• Coordinate vendor access to communication rooms and data centres.
• Support planned power shutdowns and maintenance activities involving network devices and servers.
• Coordinate cable patching and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, voice, video conferencing, and printing services.
• Manage IT assets, including collection, labelling, imaging, allocation, recovery, secure storage, and disposal.
• Collaborate with internal teams and OEMs to resolve high-priority issues.
• Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, clean-room, or distribution centre IT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft server support and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
