The EMEA Talent Acquisition Technology Lead will be responsible for leading Talent Acquisition technology, recruitment operations, and strategic hiring initiatives across the EMEA region. This role combines hands-on recruitment leadership with ownership of the Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem, ensuring that recruiters and hiring managers are equipped with the systems, processes, data, and insights needed to attract and hire top talent.
The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, HR, Technology, Operations, and external vendors to drive hiring outcomes across multiple countries and business functions. The role will serve as the primary subject matter expert for recruitment technology while also supporting and delivering strategic recruitment activity for critical and business-sensitive hiring requirements.
This individual will play a key role in shaping the future of Talent Acquisition across EMEA by driving operational excellence, enhancing recruiter effectiveness, improving reporting and analytics, strengthening talent pipelines, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Talent Acquisition Delivery
- Lead and support hiring initiatives across EMEA, partnering with senior business stakeholders to develop workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
- Deliver full lifecycle recruitment for critical and strategic hires across Front Office, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and Corporate Functions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders on talent market trends, competitor hiring activity, compensation insights, and recruitment best practices.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-calibre talent across key European financial markets.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for priority business areas and future hiring demand.
- Drive direct sourcing initiatives using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM tools, referrals, networking, market mapping, and targeted search methodologies.
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver efficient and effective interview processes, candidate assessment strategies, and timely hiring decisions.
- Monitor recruitment performance against hiring plans, service level agreements, and key talent acquisition metrics.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring initiatives across EMEA.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex, niche, and executive-level hiring requirements.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Own and drive the EMEA Talent Acquisition technology roadmap aligned to business and hiring objectives.
- Act as the primary business owner for recruitment technologies, including ATS, CRM, sourcing platforms, interview scheduling tools, assessment platforms, and recruitment analytics solutions.
- Establish governance frameworks, system standards, data quality controls, and best practices across the Talent Acquisition technology landscape.
- Partner with global stakeholders to ensure consistency, scalability, compliance, and alignment of recruiting technology solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve hiring outcomes and recruiter productivity.
Systems Management & Optimization
- Manage day-to-day oversight of Talent Acquisition systems and technology vendors.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiter productivity, candidate engagement, and hiring manager experience through process and system enhancements.
- Lead workflow optimization projects, system configuration reviews, and technology improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Technology teams to manage integrations between ATS, HRIS, background screening providers, reporting tools, assessment platforms, and other recruitment technologies.
- Support system upgrades, releases, user acceptance testing, and change management activities.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational stability across the recruitment technology ecosystem.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Develop and maintain recruitment reporting frameworks, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
- Ensure accurate capture, governance, and analysis of recruitment data across systems.
- Deliver actionable insights on hiring activity, funnel performance, source effectiveness, recruiter productivity, diversity metrics, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to support workforce planning and strategic hiring initiatives through data-driven analysis.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve recruitment outcomes.
- Champion self-service reporting capabilities and increased use of recruitment analytics throughout the organization.
- Provide market intelligence on competitor hiring activity, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and emerging talent trends across EMEA.
- Conduct talent mapping exercises for strategic business areas and growth initiatives.
- Support succession planning and future workforce discussions through external market insights.
- Use recruitment analytics and labour market intelligence to shape hiring strategies and influence business decisions.
Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership
- Act as a strategic advisor to Talent Acquisition leaders, recruiters, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers on recruitment technology and process excellence.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective technology, reporting, and operational solutions.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, Technology teams, and external vendors.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption of recruitment tools and best practices.
- Support regional and global Talent Acquisition projects and transformation initiatives.
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Lead initiatives focused on automation, process simplification, and continuous improvement within Talent Acquisition.
- Identify opportunities to reduce administrative effort and increase operational efficiency through technology and workflow enhancements.
- Drive innovative approaches to sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment operations.
- Develop documentation, process maps, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources.
- Ensure best-in-class recruitment processes and governance standards are implemented consistently across EMEA.
Leadership & Team Enablement
- Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment technology, sourcing methodologies, and recruitment best practices.
- Mentor recruiters, recruitment coordinators, and Talent Acquisition team members on technology adoption and recruiting effectiveness.
- Support capability-building initiatives across the Talent Acquisition function.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Technology, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience within Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Operations, Talent Acquisition Technology, or HR Technology.
- Significant experience delivering full lifecycle recruitment within a corporate, financial services, or agency/RPO environment.
- Hands-on experience administering and optimizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and Talent Acquisition operations.
- Experience developing recruitment reporting, dashboards, analytics, and performance metrics.
- Proven experience leading system implementations, technology enhancements, transformation projects, or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced and complex environment.
Preferred
- Experience within investment banking, capital markets, financial services, or a highly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of ATS platforms such as Workday Recruiting, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Avature, iCIMS, Taleo, or similar systems.
- Experience with CRM, sourcing, interview scheduling, assessment, and recruitment marketing technologies.
- Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition metrics, funnel analysis, workforce planning, and talent intelligence.
- Familiarity with HR data governance, systems integrations, and reporting architecture.
- Experience supporting hiring across multiple EMEA countries and jurisdictions.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other advanced analytics and visualization tools.
