Job summary

Sii Poland seeks a Data Engineer to design and operate data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on BigQuery and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with analytics and product teams to turn data into reliable insights.

You will work with Airflow/Cloud Composer, implement CI/CD for data projects, and manage IaC with Terraform. Fluency in English and Polish is required, and at least four years of production data experience in Poland.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar with production data.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch/streaming).
• Strong SQL and Python for data processing and orchestration.
• Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer; CI/CD for data solutions.
• Familiarity with IaC approach, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with large data volumes, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Fluent English; Polish language required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Work with BigQuery as data warehouse; model data and optimize queries.
• Ingest data from files, databases, APIs, and events.
• Orchestrate data workflows with Airflow/Cloud Composer.
• Create and maintain CI/CD for data pipelines and infra.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Ensure data quality and monitor pipelines; rapid incident response.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams.
