Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team, working with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and data pipelines. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions and collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver reliable data assets.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in production data roles, strong SQL and Python skills, experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer, Terraform, and CI/CD, and fluent English and Polish communication.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with production data
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and/or streaming)
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data processing and orchestration
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow / Cloud Composer)
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD for data solutions (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience handling large data volumes with focus on performance and reliability
• Fluent English and Polish communication

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse: modeling, querying, and optimization
• Integrate data from files, databases, APIs, and events
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Ensure data quality, monitor pipelines, and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver well-documented data
• Contribute to data architecture development and best practices in data engineering
