Job summary

MTU Aero Engines Polska, part of MTU Aero Engines AG, is seeking a Data Science/ML Specialist in Tajęcina near Rzeszów. You will develop machine learning models for parts deviation prediction and anomaly detection, independently drive projects, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across international sites.

The role emphasizes strong Python development, ML proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Python, including NumPy, pandas and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with PyCharm, Tableau, Git and Linux.
• Experience in statistics and machine learning, data collection (ETL) and database management (SQL).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Openness to qualification training in Munich.
• Strong communication skills in an international, diverse team.
• Very good written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development of machine learning algorithms for parts deviation prediction and anomaly detection
• Independent execution of projects with regular reporting
• Participation in management of interdisciplinary teams and execution of project tasks
• Close cooperation with different teams and sharing of methods and best practices
• Cooperation and regular technical reporting to MTU Munich, Germany.
