Job summary

MTU Aero Engines Polska, part of MTU Aero Engines AG, is seeking engineers for production technology and automation projects at the Tajęcina site near Rzeszów. You will participate in technology development, update roadmaps, and manage project budgets.

The role includes cross-functional collaboration, trials, and travel between RZE and MUC to ensure timely delivery. You should have a Master of Science in Engineering with industry experience in production, assembly, or similar, plus knowledge of

Qualifications

• Industry background in production, assembly or comparable.
• Experience managing projects and budgets.
• Knowledge of quality management methods and statistics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process plans.
• Strong written and spoken communication in English and/or German.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology projects for MTU RZE and MTU MUC, or jointly.
• Focus on technology development topics and update roadmaps (TPO)
• Manage budgets related to the projects and track expenditures
• Coordinate trials and project supervision activities
• Propose topics for MTU Production Technology Road Map and present proposals
• Enhance efficiency on production lines and analyze processes for improvements
• Conduct cross-industrial market studies on innovative production technologies
• Present results to MTU Production Technology teams and TXT/MUC
• Willingness to travel between RZE and MUC to support projects

YOUR TASKS:

• Active participation in the development of technology projects for MTU RZE and MTU MUC or jointly
• Focusing topics related to technology development and updating them for TPO road map
• Control of the budget related to the projects
• Tryouts connected with project supervision
• Creating and proposing topics in the MTU Production Technology Road Map - presenting project proposals on the MUC forumDepending on the needs, the team will also handle projects that will not be qualified for financing from the technology project budget, and are included in TPOx road mapsIncrease efficiency in the production linesPerform (cross industrial) market analysis / market studies of innovative production technologiesAddress suitable solution in respect to cost saving, quality improvementPresent results in suitable meetings to TPO dept.Analyze current processes and address solutions to current problems / process improvementFocal Point for new ideas and projects in the field of production technology and automationTechnical reporting and further agreements to TXT/MUC on a regular basisWillingness to travel (RZE-MUC)

APPLYIF YOU HAVE:

• Higher technical school (Master of Science as engineer)
• Experience in an industry background (production, assembly or comparable)
• Technical knowledge about production processes (machining, joining, coating, etc.) and/or assembly processes
• Experience in aviation industry or automotive or machine industry
• Experience in project management
• Experience in quality management methods and statistics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process plans
• English and/or German language on communication level, ability to work with English drawings and standards
• Very good work organization analytical thinking / problem solving / trouble shooting / creative, open minded / non-standard thinking communication skills and ability to work with team members (virtually/internationally)
