This time you have the chance to be part of a project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.
Work Model: Hybrid (5 days per month from the office in Warsaw)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar role
- Higher vocational education (minimum Bachelor's degree)
- Holds at least one of the following certifications:
- Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent
- Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent
Specific requirements (must have):
- Experience as a Business Analyst in at least one large-scale ERP deployment project lasting more than one year and with a budget exceeding €1 million
- Experience in analysing business processes within the following domains: Logistics; Warehouse Management; Asset Management; Fleet Management; Financial Management; Legal; HR; Project Management
- Experience in business analysis involving Microsoft technologies, including: SharePoint 2019; SharePoint Subscription Edition; SharePoint Online; Microsoft Power Automate; Power Apps, Dataverse
- Experience in business analysis involving the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications and standard ServiceNow modules in both on-premises and cloud environments, particularly: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM); Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM); Customer Service Management (CSM)
Main responsibilities
- Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data
- Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories
- Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development
- Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle
- Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification
- Supports identification of options for potential solutions
- Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies
- Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management
- Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence
- Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programmes for continuous improvements of business processes
- Responsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes
- Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements
- Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)
- Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs
- Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis
- Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes
- Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans etc.)
- Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures
