Job summary

SEIDOR in Warsaw is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Nearsite team within an international European institutional environment. You will model and document business processes, elicit requirements, and collaborate with Product Owners during software development.

The role requires 5+ years IT experience, 3+ years as a BA, and certifications in BA/modelling. You will work with SharePoint, Power Platform, and ERP contexts to drive successful projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of IT professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project experience as a Business Analyst.
  • At least one recognised BA/modelling certification.
  • Experience in a large-scale ERP deployment project (>1 year, budget >€1M).
  • Experience with Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR or Project Management.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps or Dataverse.
  • Experience with ServiceNow in Enterprise Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management or Customer Service Management.
  • Experience covering a complete software-solution lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of BPMN business-process modelling.
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of UML including activity diagrams, state diagrams and data models.
  • Experience with modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or ARIS Architect

Responsibilities

  • Model and document business processes, value streams, roles, capabilities and data.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business needs, requirements and user stories.
  • Work closely with business experts and Product Owners during requirements definition and software development.
  • Maintain and track requirements and user stories throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • Translate business, user and technical needs into clear business requirements specifications.
  • Model business processes using BPMN and UML.
  • Analyse existing systems and identify potential solution options.
  • Support the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies and transition roadmaps.
  • Contribute to system design, testing, quality assurance and change-management activities.
  • Design, validate and test business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform quantitative business-process analysis, including cost-benefit and what-if analysis.
  • Communicate project objectives, requirements, scope and business cases to stakeholders.
  • Support organisational change and coach business users on new processes and ways of working.

Requirements

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project experience as a Business Analyst.
  • At least one recognised Business Analysis / modelling certification, such as:
    • CCBA – Certification of Capability in Business Analysis, or equivalent;
    • Certified UML Professional Foundation Level, or equivalent;
    • BPM 2 Fundamental Level, or equivalent.
  • Business Analyst role in a large-scale ERP deployment project lasting more than one year and with a budget above €1M.
  • Analysis of business processes such as Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR or Project Management.
  • Business analysis involving SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps or Dataverse.
  • Business analysis involving ServiceNow, particularly Enterprise Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management or Customer Service Management.
  • Experience covering at least one complete software-solution lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of BPMN business-process modelling.
  • Strong experience in requirements and user-story elicitation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of UML, including activity diagrams, state diagrams, capability diagrams and logical data models.
