Job summary

Altherias is seeking a Business Analyst for a key client based in Warsaw. The role is mainly remote with ad-hoc on-site presence as needed.

You will translate business needs into clear specifications, support requirements definition, and contribute to process improvements across several domains. Strong knowledge of BPMN, UML and MS technologies is preferred. Candidates should have 5+ years IT experience and 3+ years as a BA, with at least one BA certification.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst for a key client based in Warsaw.

Typical tasks

(non-exhaustive list)

• Models and documents business processes, value streams, roles, capabilities, data and business requirements, translating business and technical needs into clear specifications and user stories.
• Supports requirements definition and management, solution identification, business cases, feasibility studies and system analysis throughout the lifecycle.
• Designs, validates and tests business processes, contributing to systems design, testing, quality assurance and change management.
• Identifies and manages continuous process improvement opportunities, including cost-benefit analysis, performance monitoring and efficiency/effectiveness improvements.
• Supports organizational change and business transformation, including transition roadmaps, strategic and tactical planning, stakeholder communication and coaching on new processes and skills.

Experience

• At least 5 years of IT experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst

Certification

At least 1 certificate among:

• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent
• Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent

Knowledge and skills

• Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution.
• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation.
• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis.
• Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.).
• Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.

Specific requirements

• Had role of the BA for a large-scale project (above 1 year duration and over €1M budget) of deployment enterprise resource planning system.
• Experienced in analysis of the following business processes: Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, Project Management.
• Experienced in business analysis considering capabilities of the Microsoft technologies: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse.
• Experienced in business analysis considering capabilities of the Service Now platform (custom applications and standard Service Now modules): Enterprise Assets Management, Strategic Porfolio Management, Customer Service Management (in on-prem and clould set-up).
• Warsaw (near-site): candidates must be based within 2h driving distance from Warsaw.
• The position is mainly remote, but ad-hoc on-site presence might be required (up to 5 days/month).
