Job summary

All European Careers is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the Warsaw region to drive process optimization, system analysis and strategic planning for the Application Delivery domain. You will work across business processes, requirements and ICT solutions while collaborating with stakeholders.

The role requires residence near Warsaw and fluent English; travel within the region may be expected. The position is open for contractors who can map business goals to actionable changes and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of IT experience and 5+ years as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in ICT solutions for content, reporting or analytics tools.
• Completed at least one full lifecycle of a software solution.
• Fluent in English.

Overview

For an European institution in Warsaw, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, you will operate across business process optimization, system analysis and strategic planning to support the Application Delivery domain.

Candidates need to be based in the region of Warsaw (max 2 hours distance).

Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business needs, user stories, and functional requirements;
• Translate business and technical needs into formal specifications and manage requirements throughout the system lifecycle;
• Model, validate, and test business processes using BPMN; collaborate with owners of end-to-end processes to drive continuous improvement;
• Map business goals, benefits, and features; support both strategic and tactical planning activities for business users;
• Assess existing systems and identify solution options aligned with business needs;
• Clearly communicate scope, requirements, objectives, and business cases to stakeholders;
• Prepare and maintain structured analytical and project documentation;

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree;
• +8 years of IT experience;
• +5 years of Business Analyst experience in a project aimed at analysis, design, implementation and deployment of ICT solutions that enabled (1) content production or (2) reporting tools or (3) analytical tools;
• Completed at least one full lifecycle of a software solution;
• Strong knowledge of BPMN for business process modelling;
• Familiarity with UML notations (state diagrams, capability diagrams, etc.);
• Proficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar;
• Knows how to develop a Business Architecture and its elements;
• Experience in the role of Business Analyst in a project aimed at business processes improvement or redesign;
• Fluent in English;
