PwC Polska seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join a large-scale international programme focused on transformation and enterprise information systems. You will model processes, manage requirements, and support delivery of complex technology solutions across business and tech teams.

Qualifications

  • Two internationally recognized BA certifications such as CBAP or UML/BPMN foundations.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale information systems with sizable dev teams.
  • Experience in BA activities for enterprise information systems across HR, Asset Management, Financial Processes and Grants.
  • Experience with system integrations and data platforms.
  • Full SDLC exposure with strong BPMN, UML modelling knowledge.
  • Proficient with modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or ARIS.
  • Solid SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong documentation capabilities for high-quality analytical/project docs.
  • Willing to engage as a freelancer under a B2B contract in a long-term project.
  • Experience with EU Agencies/public sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Model and document business processes, value streams, capabilities, roles, and data structures.
  • Elicit, analyse, validate, and manage business requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with business experts, Product Owners, architects, and developers across the SDLC.
  • Translate needs into detailed business requirements specifications.
  • Maintain and track requirements and user stories throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyse existing systems and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to business cases, feasibility studies, and solution recommendations.
  • Support solution design, testing, QA, and change management activities.
  • Design and continuously improve processes to drive operational excellence.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses including cost-benefit and what-if studies.
  • Define and monitor process performance indicators and KPIs.
  • Assist stakeholders in strategic and tactical planning.
  • Develop transition roadmaps and support business architecture initiatives.
  • Lead and support organisational change, stakeholder engagement and user adoption.
  • Coach users during implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Communicate objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to key stakeholders.

Your future role:

  • Support the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies, and solution recommendations,
  • Contribute to solution design, testing, quality assurance, and change management activities,
  • Design, validate, and continuously improve business processes to drive operational excellence,
  • Conduct quantitative business analysis, including cost-benefit and what-if analyses,
  • Define and monitor business process performance indicators and measurement frameworks,
  • Support business stakeholders in the development of strategic and tactical plans,
  • Develop transition roadmaps and support business architecture initiatives,
  • Lead and support organisational change activities, including stakeholder engagement and user adoption,
  • Coach and support users during the implementation of new processes and systems,

  • At least two internationally recognized Business Analysis certifications, such as CBAP, Certified UML Professional (Foundation Level), BPMN 2 Fundamental, or equivalent,
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on large-scale information systems with development teams of more than 10 developers,
  • Proven experience in business analysis activities related to enterprise information systems supporting: Human Resource Management,
  • Asset Management, Financial Processes, Grant Agreement Management,
  • Experience working on projects involving system integrations and data platforms,
  • Demonstrated experience throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC),
  • Strong knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN,
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and management,
  • Solid understanding of modelling and analysis techniques, including UML (activity diagrams, state diagrams, capability diagrams, logical data models, etc.).
  • Practical experience using modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent solutions,
  • Good understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques,
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills,
  • Strong documentation capabilities with the ability to create and maintain high-quality analytical and project documentation,
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
  • Willingness to engage as a freelancer under a B2B contract model in a long term project,
  • Experience working with EU Agencies, European Institutions, or public sector organizations is nice to have.
