Job summary

Nova Hunte is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in business process modelling and requirements analysis to join a long-term contract for a leading public sector client.

You will model value chains, map processes, and elicit requirements, translating them into clear specifications for software delivery while maintaining comprehensive documentation and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar position.
• Experience in BPMN notation modelling.
• Experience in elicitation and analysis of requirements and user stories.
• Knowledge of UML notations (capability, activity, state diagrams, data models).
• Proficiency with modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
• Experience in gathering, analysing, and prioritising business needs and user stories.
• Completed at least one full software solution lifecycle.
• Mastery of SharePoint and related tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Are you a Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in business process modelling and requirements analysis?

Long-term contract opportunity with a leading public sector client.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar position
• Experience in business process modelling using BPMN notation
• Experience in requirements and user stories elicitation and analysis
• Knowledge of analysis and modelling notations such as UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model, etc.)
• Proficiency in using modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar
• Experience in gathering, analysing, and prioritising business needs, requirements, and user stories
• Has completed at least one full software solution lifecycle
• Mastery of SharePoint and SharePoint platform-specific tools
• Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively
• Problem-solving skills and excellent analytical skills
• Exceptional collaborative skills and communication skills
• Versatility in technologies and platforms
• At least 2 certifications from among: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified UML Professional (foundation level), BPM 2 (fundamental level), or equivalent internationally recognised certifications

• Quantitatively analyse business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis
• Plan organisational change processes
• Implement performance monitoring systems for business processes
• Support business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans)
