Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking an Application Manager to lead end-to-end lifecycle management of engineering applications. You will bridge business, IT, architecture, cybersecurity, and vendors to govern onboarding, operation, and retirement while aligning with enterprise goals.

You will oversee service delivery, security and compliance, and drive roadmaps, cost control, and value realization across global teams.

Qualifications

Experience in owning applications end-to-end lifecycle management.
Familiarity with ITIL 4 processes: incident, problem, change, release, SLA.
Knowledge of engineering domains and lifecycle integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Govern applications across full lifecycle from onboarding to retirement.
Maintain documentation in the CMDB / application registry.
Ensure service delivery including incident, problem, change, and release management.
Maintain application availability, performance, and SLAs.
Ensure security and compliance requirements are met.
Develop roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
Drive user adoption and training, and enable value realization.
Manage costs, budgets, licenses, and vendor performance.
Plan and execute controlled application retirement with data archiving.
