Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Kraków is seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to oversee a portfolio of analytics and business applications. You will partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to ensure reliability, performance, and strong service delivery across the suite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with at least 5 years in application management or similar role.
• Experience managing business applications and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with vendor management and service delivery.
• Project management experience, including planning and coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow; AI solutions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle, performance, and continuous improvement of applications in the portfolio.
• Coordinate application support activities including incidents, requests, changes.
• Work with business stakeholders and owners to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery and value.
• Help ensure applications meet security, governance, and service management requirements.
• Maintain application documentation and support operational readiness.
• Monitor service performance and ensure service levels are met.
