Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Application Manager to develop digitalization strategy and maximize business value for the Quality Management System Portfolio. You will support testing and validation of our products and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

You will ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, license management, CMDB registration, and service delivery within SLAs while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to optimize costs and value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in application management (quality/engineering/manufacturing apps preferred).
• Vendor management experience (task, process & KPI execution) and portfolio application management experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to gather business requirements.
• Analytical thinking with ability to see the broader view of business requirements and process inputs.
• English proficiency at B2+ level to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Align applications with Hitachi IT Enterprise Architecture and global IT domains strategy.
• Ensure proper license arrangements for the user community.
• Register applications with the CMDB and follow Hitachi IT Service Management guidelines.
• Deliver services within SLAs for incidents and change requests with governance per HE standards.
• Maintain technical and user documentation; keep it up to date.
• Manage vendors and costs to ensure best value for service delivery.
• Collaborate with business teams and application owners on continuous improvement strategy.
