Job summary

Maersk in Wrocław is seeking an Airfreight Control Tower Operator to proactively monitor international shipments from booking to delivery. You will coordinate customers, carriers, origin and destination stations, and internal teams to ensure on-time performance and service excellence.

The role requires strong analytics, Excel and Power BI skills, and experience with TMS/Cargo systems. Fluency in English and the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or experience in the Forwarding industry is an advantage.
• Fluently English both written and verbally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), cargo tracking platforms, and ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor airfreight shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Track and manage shipment milestones and transportation events.
• Ensure adherence to agreed transit times and customer-specific SOPs.
• Maintain accurate shipment status updates within transportation management systems.
• Provide proactive communication regarding shipment progress and potential delays.
