Job summary

Maersk in Poland is seeking a logistics associate to manage shipment documentation and ensure smooth operational workflows. You will liaise with customers, carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics operations, strong English skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Overtime and multiple time zones may be involved to support global shipments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a logistics company in operation or document roles.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to different time zones and international holidays.
• Proactive, careful work style with attention to detail.
• Learning agility and openness to change.

Responsibilities

• Manage SI VGM ISF AMS pre-alert and other documents for export shipments.
• Understand shipment flow, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
• Provide value to customers through effective business solutions and process understanding.
• Maintain communication with clients, carriers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor, record and report performance to improve efficiency and service.
• Comply with SOPs and SOP/IOP guidelines; drive improvements.
• Identify deviations and take timely corrective actions.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and escalate as defined in SOPs/IOPs.
• Execute reports and other tasks assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
